Marry the Night by Lady Gaga will forever be one of my favorite songs. The song’s purpose is to push the idea of taking all the darkness in your life (depression, bullying, etc.) and instead of pushing it away or being ashamed of it, embrace it. Embrace all the bad moment even more than the good ones, because that’s what makes you stronger. Don’t cower in fear of said events, but don’t give up, surpass that fear and hold it even closer to you; marry the night. “I’m gonna marry the night, I won’t give up on my life.” Sometimes we all feel like a “solider to my own emptiness”, but the next line in the song is how we should still feel at all times, “I’m a winner.”
Marry the Night, no matter what the situation, Marry the Night.
